  • Yes! Alfa Jae Salon is always accepting new guests. With multiple stylists at different levels, specialties, price points, and availability, we can help you find the right fit. If you’re not sure who to book with, take our Stylist Match Quiz and we’ll point you in the right direction.

  • Not always. Most new guests can book their service directly without a separate consultation. However, major transformations, color corrections, extensions, or services with a complicated hair history may require a consultation first so we can create the right plan and give you realistic expectations.

  • Pricing depends on the stylist, service, amount of hair, starting point, and your desired result. Our online booking menu gives you a starting point for each service. If your goal requires additional time, product, or appointments, your stylist will discuss that with you before moving forward.

  • Absolutely. Alfa Jae Salon welcomes all hair textures. Several of our stylists specialize in curly, coily, and textured hair, including customized cutting, color, styling, and natural hair services. Our stylist match quiz can help you find the best fit for your hair and goals.

  • Come with your hair in a condition that allows us to see and assess it accurately. Avoid arriving with extremely tangled hair, heavy product buildup, or anything that makes it difficult to evaluate your natural texture and current color. Inspiration photos are encouraged, and photos of what you don’t like can be surprisingly helpful too.

  • That’s exactly why we created our stylist match quiz. Our stylists have different specialties, personalities, price points, speeds, and availability. The quiz helps match you with someone based on your hair, goals, preferences, and the type of salon experience you’re looking for.

  • Your first visit starts with a thorough consultation. We’ll talk about your hair history, goals, lifestyle, maintenance expectations, budget, and what is realistically achievable. From there, your stylist will create a plan specifically for you. Our goal isn’t just for you to love your hair when you leave. We want you to understand how to maintain it and what comes next.
